Solair at the Enchanted Maze is the perfect venue for an intimate, informal wedding reception. Solair is a 90 seat contemporary style restaurant with a relaxed ambience.

Our chefs will orchestrate a menu with emphasis on complementing the wines surroundings and season. We are happy to incorporate your ideas to tailor a menu to meet your exact requirements.

Complete wedding packages are available, incorporating a three course meal and beverages from $100 per person or finger food menu with beverages from $75 per person. Should you wish to get married in the winter months, still a beautiful time at the Enchanted Maze, we are happy to offer a total discount of 10%. (May – September)

Solair is available for wedding receptions for a five hour duration starting from 12 noon for lunch or from 6pm for dinner, seven days a week. Upon booking we will require a $1000 deposit to confirm your reservation.

The setup of Solair for your wedding reception is very flexible. The tables will be set in white linen with linen serviettes allowing plenty of scope for any decoration you wish to include which can be discussed with your event manager. The room can be set to include a parquetry dance floor. Facilities to play CDs are available and are free of charge. The deck area of Solair can be enclosed with clear marquee walls to offer an outdoor extension of the restaurant area.

*Should you have a particular wine, beer or other beverage that you would like to be made available that we do not usually carry on our beverage lists, we would be more than happy to cater to your requirements.


Further information

Enjoy a unique garden ceremony held in the breathtaking turf maze at The Enchanted Maze at a cost of $500. This allows for an extra hour prior to your booking time. We will supply for the ceremony a registry table, red carpet, standard lilly pilly trees in pots and seating for your guests. After the ceremony the bridal party and guests have until 6pm to wander, take photographs and enjoy the gardens. There is a fee of $100 per half hour after 6pm that the maze and gardens are utilized.- Prior arrangements will need to be made to access the maze and gardens after 6pm.

We request that all guests are informed that absolutely no confetti is to be thrown on the premises or in the Maze. This will incur a $100 fee. Other bio degradable options are suitable, i.e. rose petals, rice or bubbles

Preferred music at Solair is acoustic. Music with no amplification suits the style and surroundings of Solair and Arthurs Seat Maze. The natural acoustics of the room are suitable for most music styles. Bands and DJs that require amplification can be utilised, however must strictly abide by enforced noise restrictions.

Table settings and room setup are flexible and can be discussed with your event manager to suit your preferred style. We have some decorations at Solair that can also be utilized in your room set up.

There are many fine local wedding services that we are happy to recommend. From florists to photographers, celebrants to bridal cars, we can source the right service for your needs.

Accommodation in the surrounding area is abundant. Let us know your requirements and we will be happy to recommend suitable accommodation for your needs.

The Red Hill Shuttle service is also available providing transport to and from your accommodation in the immediate area for a nominal fee.

Tentative bookings are held for fourteen days. When you wish to confirm Solair as your wedding venue we will require $1000 deposit as confirmation. The deposit is non refundable unless the same date can be re booked for a wedding.

Full payment is required upon confirmation of numbers no later than three days prior to the wedding.

The prices quoted are for cash payment. If you wish to pay by cheque or credit card please add 4% for bank and statutory charges.

Payment of garden ceremony is non refundable. In case of rain, ceremony will be held in Solair.

Hire of parquetry dance floor and clear walls for deck area can be organized on your behalf at current hire rates.
