Solair restaurant and the Enchanted Maze combine to offer a wide array of corporate and entertainment options. Solair is nestled in the gardens with stunning views across the mazes and structured gardens. The spectacular setting is ideal by day or night for a corporate or social group gathering to wine, dine and unwind from the stresses of modern day life.

Many groups come to Solair to have a lazy day enjoying the food and wine combinations from our extensive menu. Others ask us to plan a more structured event combined with the Enchanted Maze. All these options are, of course, accompanied by an outstanding meal in Solair.

Whether you require a corporate function, birthday, christening, sales meeting, full day seminar, family get together, presentation, product launch, Christmas party or just a relaxed night out, Solair at the Enchanted Maze is the perfect venue for flexibility to tailor the exact function to suit your requirements.

We understand how important a venue is for your special event and realize that our inviting surroundings, superb views over the mazes and gardens, professional service and consultation along with innovative cuisine, will not only make your event a totally stylish and memorable occasion, but also a completely relaxing one.

Our chefs will orchestrate a menu with emphasis on complementing the wines surroundings and season. We are happy to incorporate your ideas to tailor a menu to meet your exact requirements.

Solair is available from 12 noon for lunch or from 6pm for dinner, seven days a week. Upon booking we will require a $1000 deposit to confirm your reservation.

The setup of Solair for your event is totally flexible. The tables will be set in white linen with linen serviettes allowing plenty of scope for any decoration you wish to include which can be discussed with your event manager. The room can be set to include a parquetry dance floor. Facilities to play CDs are available and are free of charge. The deck area of Solair can be enclosed with clear marquee walls to offer an indoor / outdoor area at current hire rates.


Lazy days at Solair

At Solair we welcome large bookings. To ensure your luncheon runs smoothly we have implemented a group menu to ensure ease and efficiency of service. For a three-course menu the following will be offered to your guests on the day for them to select from accompanied by a glass of wine and followed by tea and coffee. The cost of three courses is $55.00 per person. An alternative to this menu is two courses, which also can be selected from this menu; your guests can either select entrée & main course or main course & dessert also with a glass of wine, tea and coffee. The cost for two courses is $45.00 per person. The minimum number for an event at Solair is 20 people and we can seat up to 90 people. tender free range chicken breast stuffed with cottage cheese and chives, served with roasted baby beetroots, artichokes and napped in a lemon thyme sauce

succulent baked tuscan rolled porkwith garlic and rosemary accompanied by roasted kipfler potatoes and basil crisps

vegetarian homemade spinach, roast capsicum and parmesan potato gnocchi tossed in a blue, tasty and parmesan cheese sauce 

Dessert

Warm orange chocolate pudding served with white chocolate and pistachio ice cream

Soft centered meringue served with double cream and red hill fruits poached in muscat

Baked frangipani tart with red hill pears, accompanied by local berries and vanilla anglaise

Tranquil nights at Solair

An appealing advantage of an evening function is that the restaurant and large deck can be exclusively yours to enjoy. Solair provides privacy and seclusion so you and your guests can totally relax and enjoy our reputed fine wine, food and service.

An ideal start to the evening is our special ‘Enchanted Maze Experience’. Stroll through the beautiful gardens and mazes prior to adjourning to Solair for pre dinner drinks and canapés. It is a great way to alleviate stress from a long day’s conferencing to relax before dinner, and a great team bonding exercise.

Solair offers a menu package for Corporate or large group bookings wishing to visit us in the evenings.

A five-course menu will start with a selection of hot and cold canapés, then your choice of two dishes for each entrée, main course and dessert followed by tea and coffee with petit fours. Our specially designed menu is served on an alternating (50/50) basis. Other options are available upon request.

Full selections of local, interstate and international wines are available and are charged by set package or consumption. Solair can also provide Basic Spirits, Beers, Apple juice, Orange juice, Soft Drinks and Mineral water upon request.

Solair will be happy to incorporate your ideas to tailor a menu or theme to meet your requirements.

Further information

Entertainment options are welcome. Music with no amplification suits the style and surroundings of Solair and Arthurs Seat Maze. The natural acoustics of the room are suitable for most music styles. Bands and DJs that require amplification can be utilised, however must strictly abide by enforced noise restrictions.

Table settings and room setup are flexible and can be discussed with your event manager to suit your preferred style.

Accommodation in the surrounding area is abundant. Let us know your requirements and we will be happy to recommend suitable accommodation for your needs.

Tentative bookings are held for fourteen days. When you wish to confirm Solair as your entertainment venue we will require $1000 deposit as confirmation. The deposit is non refundable unless the same date can be re booked.

The prices quoted are for cash payment. If you wish to pay by cheque or credit card please add 4% for bank and statutory charges.

Payment of garden use is non refundable

Hire of parquetry dance floor and clear walls for deck area can be organized on your behalf at current hire rates.
